Minnesota Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns was inefficient on the court in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. After the game, the big man made a claim that got ridiculed by the Inside the NBA on TNT crew.

Towns went 5-for-18 on the field, scoring 14 points in the crucial matchup alongside 11 rebounds and 3 assists.

"I gotta laugh," Towns said after the game. "I'm putting up to 1500 shots a day, shot so well all playoffs, the confidence [was] extremely high. To be having these unfortunate bounces and these looks that are just not going in, it's tough, it's tough, for sure. Confidence-wise, I just gotta keep shooting."

After hearing the player's comment, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, who's been a regular guest on the show throughout the playoffs, immediately started saying that Towns' number might not be exactly right.

Kenny Smith, who was known for his shooting when he played in the NBA, chipped in.

"I never took shots, I did makes. To make 300 in a day, takes around 40-45 minutes. If you're taking 1500, it's gonna take you two-and-a-half hours, and you already practiced... It's cap," Smith said. "We can throw the cap right now at the camera."

Charles Barkley explained his thoughts more thoroughly.

"The funny thing about him saying that, first of all, he's lying. Let's say hypothetically he was telling the truth. If he shoots 1500 threes, that's the problem," Chuck said. "It's the type of shots he's getting - that is the problem. It has nothing to do with him not working on his game."

"What are the types of shots you're getting? If he's just out there shooting threes, he's still 4-for-32. Does he shoot in the mid-range, or does he do it in the post-up? That would be my question because that's always been my criticism of him," Barkley said.

Shaquille O'Neal then revealed an interesting fact that he's been swept five times throughout his illustrious career. The Hall of Famer looked at a different thing he saw in KAT's post-game interview.

"The fact that he's not upset concerns me. He's not upset at all," Shaq said. "What's about to happen to them, I'm probably the biggest name, a superstar swept five times. The fact that he's not upset he played terribly shows me he's not ready yet."

"I played with guys like Kobe [Bryant]. [If he's] missing [the] last shot, you better not say anything to him on the plane. Penny Hardaway missing [the] last pass? You better not say nothing to him on the plane," O'Neal told. "I miss two or three free throws? Don't say nothing."
