Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns responded to being benched in a narrow Game 2 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves are not looking the best after losing Game 1 and Game 2 at home to the Dallas Mavericks.
For what it is worth, Towns was benched for a majority of the fourth quarter, being instead substituted by Naz Reid.
After the loss, Towns responded to being benched to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
"I'm with winning, so whatever it takes to win. Naz [Reid] has it going," he praised his teammate. "Coach's decision, I'm fully supportive of my coaching staff. Wouldn't question them one bit," he concluded.
Despite the decision of the coaching staff led by Chris Finch, the Timberwolves are currently down 2-0 and have lost their homecourt advantage to the resilient Mavericks.
Game 3 of the series will be played on May 27.
