Toronto Raptors are looking to quickly trade Bruce Brown before the 2025 deadline.
Bruce Brown is slated to be traded by the Toronto Raptors.
According to Doug Smith, the Raptors are thinking of picking up the guard's option worth $23 million and then trading him.
The Toronto team is not willing to wait until the next season to trade Brown. Instead, Smith notes that they are aiming for the 2024 NBA Draft, which will take place on 26-27 June.
Brown was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Raptors on January 17, 2024. He was included in a package for Pascal Siakam alongside Jordan Nwora and Kira Lewis Jr.
After the Raptors acquired him, there were talks about him being part of another trade with the Atlanta Hawks in February. However, this fell through.
With the Raptors, Brown averaged 10.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season.
