Ioannis Papapetrou has played the most EuroLeague games without winning a title among the 2024 Final Four participants, with 271 games to his name.
Winning a championship title is every player's ultimate dream, but it's no easy feat. As the Final Four in Berlin approaches, five players have been waiting more than 200 EuroLeague games for their chance to lift the trophy. Among them are some of the league's well-known names.
Out of the 30 players who have played the most EuroLeague games without winning a title, five will finally have a chance to break their streak in Berlin.
According to Darius Garuolis, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens forward Ioannis Papapetrou has played the most EuroLeague games without winning a title among the Final Four participants, with 271 games to his name. The Greek player ranks eighth on the all-time list of players without a title.
Following Papapetrou are Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul's star duo, Marko Guduric and Scottie Wilbekin.
Guduric has played 247 games over eight EuroLeague seasons without securing a title, while Wilbekin has failed to lift the trophy in 239 games across the same number of seasons. Both players rank in the Top 20 for most games played without a championship.
Also among the unlucky ones is Olympiacos Piraeus center Nikola Milutinov. With a decade in the league and 225 games played, Milutinov is still chasing his first title.
Alongside Guduric and Papapetrou, Milutinov will be making his third Final Four appearance in Berlin. In contrast, this will be Wilbekin's first Final Four, while many of Olympiacos' core players will also be participating in their third consecutive Final Four, including Thomas Walkup with 212 games under his belt.
