The Miami Heat rookie was ruled out for Game 5 against the Boston Celtics.
The Miami Heat will miss another piece when they take on the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of their first-round series.
Rookie forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. was ruled out due to a strained right hip flexor and did not travel with the team to Boston for Game 5.
Jaquez suffered the injury in the second half of Game 4 and left the game, saying he "felt something give in the hip" after jumping for a rebound.
The Heat forward has started in all four games of the best-of-7 series, averaging 12.8 points.
The Celtics hold a 3-1 lead over the Heat and are looking to close out the series in Game 5.
