Los Angeles Clippers will add Kai Jones to their roster ahead of the playoffs.
Kai Jones will return to the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to Shams Chanaria and Law Murray of The Athletic, Jones will sign a multiyear deal with the Los Angeles team and bolster their playoff roster.
Per the same source, Josh Primo will be waived by the Clippers to make way for Jones.
Lastly, Jones had signed a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, which recently expired. He also played under the Delaware Blue Coats jersey, the G-League affiliate of the 76ers.
In his last multiyear stint in the NBA, Jones was part of the Charlotte Hornets in 2021-2023 after being drafted 19th in 2021 by the New York Knicks.
As for the Clippers, their playoff journey will kick off with the Dallas Mavericks in the first round.
He averaged 2.7 points and 2 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game with the Hornets.
