Kevin Pangos will miss Valencia's next games due to an injury in his right leg.
Kevin Pangos missed Valencia Basket's decisive EuroLeague Round 33 against ASVEL in La Fonteta, where a heavy 98-69 defeat deprived the Spanish club from its postseason chances, but also cost Alex Mumbru his position on the bench.
Pangos was injured in the last training session prior to the game, as he suffered a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of his right leg.
The Canadian point guard will be out for the foreseeable future, according to the club's announcement. The progress of his rehabilitation will decide the time of his absence.
Pangos suited up for Valencia in only 12 EuroLeague games this season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.3 assists per contest, all career-lows. He put up 4.0 points and dished out 2.8 dimes over 11 ACB games.
