Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton is slated to make his return from injury in the next game.
Khris Middleton will make his anticipated return to the basketball court in the upcoming Milwaukee Bucks-Phoenix Suns game.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the forward stated that he will make his return in the team's next game against the Phoenix Suns.
Middleton was injured, oddly enough, in another game against the Suns in early February during a contact with Kevin Durant. The collision resulted in an ankle injury for the Bucks forward.
The return of the experienced player would be crucial for the Bucks, as the team is currently out of shape. Before a 114-105 win against the Philadelphia 76ers, they had fallen 94-129 to the Sacramento Kings.
"And as a team, we're just going to keep continuing to get better, to keep building habits. Hopefully, Khris can come back healthy and elevate this team," Giannis Antetokounmpo stated in an interview with The Athletic on March 14.
This season, Middleton is averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.
