According to Harrison Wind, Jokic named the following names, all from post-Yugoslav countries, in his first five.

- Bogdan Bogdanovic (Atlanta Hawks),
- Dario Saric (Golden State Warriors),
- Nikola Vucevic (Chicago Bulls),
- Himself.
All names on Nikola Jokic's list are having notable seasons, and he is at the forefront of this reality. Currently ranked number 1 in the Kia MVP Ladder, Jokic is averaging an almost triple-double of 26.1 points, 12 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
