Serbian player Alen Smailagic will not be able to help Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in the upcoming Radivoj Korac Cup final.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade will have to battle Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in the 2024 Radivoj Korac Cup final without the help of Alen Smailagic, who has been out for the previous rounds of the cup as well.
According to Partizan head coach Zeljko Obradovic, Smailagic has some disclosed injuries and will continue to be out.
"He had problems, he feels bad, and there is no chance that he will be part of the team tomorrow, unfortunately," Obradovic said yesterday after the semifinal game against KK Vojvodina, which Partizan won with a score of 67-80.
Smailagic has proven himself a valuable asset for the team in the last two years, averaging 6.7 points and 2.5 rebounds on 64.5% two-point shooting and 42.9% three-point shooting in the EuroLeague.
Partizan will meet with Crvena Zvezda tonight, which beat out KK Borac Cacak 94 in the semifinal with a score of 52-87 in a battle to claim the 2024 Radivoj Korac Cup at 21:00 CET.
