Tyronn Lue, the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, has received a hefty fine after dealing harsh criticisms toward and accusing referees.
According to a statement from the NBA, the experienced coach received a $35,000 fine for "public criticism of the officiating and for questioning the integrity of game officials."
Lue's criticisms came after his team's narrow 125-130 win over the Golden State Warriors, and he did not hold back, going after the officiating crew after the end of the game.
This episode is the latest in a series of criticisms against the refereeing in the NBA this season, which has increased dramatically in comparison to previous years.
