Jaylen Brown and Duncan Robinson, playing for the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat, respectively, were caught up in an altercation that involved plenty of trash-talking in yesterday's game.

The Celtics beat the Heat with a score of 106-110 on a night when Jimmy Butler was sadly missing due to losing a family member, but perhaps more attention was given to the row between Robinson and Brown.

"I bet he won't do it again," said Brown about a scene where Duncan Robinson tried to lock Brown's arm and was promptly thrown off by the Celtics player, who then received a flagrant 1 foul call for his action.

Even though the tension was quite visible, Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzula saw a bright side to the conflict between the two players.

"We need to have a certain level of friction in moments. There needs to be a passion," said the youngest active NBA head coach.

Robinson and Brown know each other well, being involved in a 7-game series in the 2022-23 season's Eastern Conference Finals, a high-octane match-up that ended with a spectacular victory for the Miami Heat.

In yesterday's game, Brown had 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Robinson had 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist.
