Cory Joseph's return to the Indiana Pacers was short-lived, lasting only a couple of hours. The Canadian guard was traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Pacers but has been waived by Indiana, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
In the deal, the Pacers sent Joseph and cash to the GSW in exchange for a second-round pick, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Joseph, 32, has a history with the Pacers, having played for them from 2017 to 2019.
This season, he has posted averages of 2.4 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists over 26 games.
Joseph secured an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014.
