According to a team announcement, LaVine will have to take on an operation that will leave him sidelined for four to six months.
The guard's injury is on his right foot, and an operation was seen as necessary for him to recover fully.
LaVine's surgery will take place on February 5, 2024.
In a season riddled with injuries, LaVine has averaged 19.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.
