According to the team, the guard picked up a right ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated in a week's time.
LaVine sustained the injury in his team's 110-116 win over the Toronto Raptors yesterday during the third quarter. He tried to come back and try himself in the fourth period but saw that he was unable to continue.
This is not the first time that the guard has had to deal with injuries this season, as he had a few more that have reflected negatively on an otherwise strong season.
In 25 games this year, also counting the NBA In-Season Tournament, LaVine has averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
