Desmond Bane, a star of the Memphis Grizzlies, had to exit the court with an injury on Friday.
The shooting guard has suffered an ankle sprain on his left leg and did not play in the remaining third quarter and the entirety of the fourth quarter.
At the moment, the extent of Bane's injury is not known, announced the team's head coach Taylor Jenkins. The shooting guard's status is being evaluated at the moment, with an announcement on his situation pending.
The American player picked up his injury after he landed awkwardly on Kawhi Leonard's foot with 5 minutes and 5 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
So far, Bane is averaging 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game with the Grizzlies, with which he signed a max extension last summer.
