The club has announced that the player has pubalgia, also known as sports hernia.
Barcelona has not announced if the Barca captain will be able to suit up against Olympiacos Piraeus or not. It was merely stated that Abrines' situation would be re-evaluated ahead of the second consecutive double-week in the EuroLeague.
This year, the player is averaging 6.6 points and 2.1 rebounds on 55% two-point and 44.7% three-point shooting across 14 contests in the EuroLeague.
Abrines has also demonstrated excellent shooting form in the Liga Endesa season, where he is shooting with 50% from two-point territory and 51.2% from behind the arc.
