Dejan Radonjic has signed a contract with Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul, a team that competes in the Turkish Basketball Super League and FIBA Europe Cup, announced the club.

The move came a very little time after the sacking of Sinan Atalay, who had been the head coach of the team since towards the end of the last season.

Bahcesehir has not announced the duration of Radonjic's contract.

Previously, the experienced Montenegrin specialist coached EuroLeague teams like FC Bayern Munich, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, and lastly, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens.

After a disappointing performance with Panathinaikos, the coach was sacked and was rumored to take over Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. However, fan backlash has made that move untenable.

Radonjic will work with players such as Tony Taylor, Philip Scrubb, Axel Bouteille, Tyler Cavanaugh, and Jerry Boutsiele in Bahcesehir.
