Yilmaz suffered a severe injury during Tuesday night's 71-68 victory against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens in EuroLeague Round 12.

Despite playing a backup role this season, averaging 1.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 10:25 minutes over 11 appearances, the 26-year-old Yilmaz remains a valuable squad member under head coach Erdem Can.

It was coach Can who brought Yilmaz from Turk Telekom Ankara to Efes.

Yilmaz's injury adds to Efes' growing list of sidelined players. Earlier this week, the club revealed that Will Clyburn would be out until at least mid-January, and Rodrigue Beaubois would be sidelined for three weeks.

The injury roster also includes Elijah Bryant, who has been out since Round 6; Tibor Pleiss, absent since Round 8; Ante Zizic, unavailable until mid-December; and Derek Willis, out until mid-January.

In total, Erdem Can finds himself without seven key first-team players.
