Josh Nebo, who recently acquired Nigerian citizenship, is now eligible to play for the Nigerian national basketball team in FIBA competitions.
Josh Nebo is now eligible to represent the Nigerian national team in FIBA competitions, as the high-flying center for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has officially obtained the country's passport.

Nebo, who activated a plus clause in his Maccabi contract this past summer, produced 7.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per Israeli League outing last season, whilst averaging 7.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in less than 22 minutes of playing time in the EuroLeague.
The 26-year-old had previously played in Israel for Hapoel Eilat before making his EuroLeague debut with Zalgiris Kaunas in the 2021-22 season.
Born in Houston, Texas, Nebo also played football when he was young but then focused on basketball and went to Pennsylvania.
