The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced that they signed the Czech guard. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed per team policy, the franchise writes.
Before joining Minnesota, Krejci played for two different teams in his first two years in the NBA. First, he averaged 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists for the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2021-22 season.
Last year, he played 29 games for the Atlanta Hawks and averaged just 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. He also played 3 games for the College Park Skyhawks in the G-League, where he averaged 9.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
This offseason, Krejci played for the Czech national team in the Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Estonia. In three games, he was the squad's leading player, averaging 14 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists for 20.3 PIR per game.
