Yakuba Ouattara recently appeared in his first major FIBA event, playing for the French national team in the World Cup.
AS Monaco and their captain, Yakuba Ouattara, have agreed on a one-year extension, according to the official team announcement.
The 31-year-old returns for his eighth year with AS Monaco organization.
Ouattara's previous deal had expired after the 2022-23 season.
Ouattara averaged 3.7 points and 1.0 rebounds over 35 EuroLeague games last season.
He recently represented the French national team at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. Ouattara posted 4.3 points per game, but France suffered an early elimination in the tournament's First Round.
