Dario Brizuela could be on his way to Barcelona, as the Catalan club intends to pay a buy-out to Unicaja that could be around €1 million.
Unicaja Malaga guard Dario Brizuela could be on his way to FC Barcelona, Juan Calderon from SUR reports.
Calderon reports that Unicaja are aware of Barcelona's intention to pay Brizuela's release clause. It is thought that the buy-out could be around €1 million, but SUR adds that the website couldn't confirm this number.
Unicaja welcomed such news with a big surprise because Brizuela extended his contract in April, which tied him with the club until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Last season, Brizuela averaged 12.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 9.3 EFF per game over 15 appearances in the Basketball Champions League.
In the Spanish ACB League, the 28-year-old averaged 9.1 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 7.2 EFF per game over 34 appearances.
