Marko Simonovic was waived by the Chicago Bulls after 16 appearances since signing a multi-year deal in 2021.
Marko Simonovic became a free agent after the Chicago Bulls waived him, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.
Last season, Simonovic averaged 0.9 points and 0.3 rebounds in 7 appearances. Overall, the 23-year-old played only 16 games for the Bulls since signing a multi-year deal in 2021.
"Marko Simonovic was great in the G-League, he was in Top-5 in the Summer League. But still, he didn't get minutes in Chicago," Simonovic's agent Misko Raznatovic told SDNA in April.
"We don't know what's going to happen. He will be a big-time addition to any European team, playing in both the 4 and 5 positions. He is still 23 years old. I believe that if he returns to Europe, which we would not like, we will see a new Musa," Raznatovic added.
Simonovic was drafted by the Bulls with the 44th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
