Joseph will sign a 1-year deal with the Warriors and form a backcourt bench with Chris Paul and Brandin Podziemski.
Last season, the 31-year-old averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in 62 appearances for the Detroit Pistons.
Joseph played for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, and Pistons throughout his career.
