NBA champion Bruce Brown is the one core player on the Denver Nuggets who likely won't be back next season, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Due to salary limitations, the Nuggets can offer Brown a maximum of $7.8 million, despite the belief that his value has increased significantly.

While Brown has the option to remain with the Nuggets for the 2023-24 season, it is highly probable that he will decline it and explore free agency.

In the recent playoffs, Brown showcased his crucial contribution by averaging 12.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 26.5 minutes per game.

His regular-season averages marked 11.5 points, 4.1 boards, and 3.4 assists over 80 games.

When questioned about his desire to return to the team next season during a championship press conference, Brown expressed his strong interest, stating, "For sure."
