Bacon will not travel to Rhodes due to a serious disciplinary offense during Tuesday's team practice. It's currently unclear what exactly happened. Paris Lee logged in partial participation and will travel with the team.
After not getting to the EuroLeague playoffs, Panathinaikos Athens continue to battle in the Greek League (ESAKE). However, one of their leaders will miss the upcoming game.
According to the information from the organization, Dwayne Bacon will not travel with the team to play against Kolossos H Hotels Rhodes due to a serious disciplinary offense during team practice on Tuesday.
There is no further information currently on what exactly happened.
Paris Lee, meanwhile, logged in partial participation and will travel with the team.
Last month, Bacon was benched before the EuroLeague game against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade on March 10th. It was later revealed that Bacon partied all night with AS Monaco superstar guard Mike James and was later for the next day's practice.
Bacon has recently shared that he misses family while playing in Greece.
"I miss my children so much. Sometimes I think of retiring just to be near them," the player said. "I'm only 27 and I love basketball but it's hard to be here outside the US. When you have children, you also have responsibility. Sure, the money is good, I make more in Europe than some players do in the NBA but family is above all."
