Wally Szczerbiak addressed his earlier comments after the Knicks' game against the Raptors last night and called Tyrese Haliburton a wonderful young player.
Former NBA player Wally Szczerbiak, who now works for the television that broadcasts New York Knicks games, has made headlines recently with his comments about Tyrese Haliburton, calling him a 'wannabe fake All-Star'. The feud got major attention from social media, and both parties decided to address it.
First, the Indiana Pacers guard talked about it in an interview with Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks. Then, Szczerbiak addressed it after the Knicks' game against the Toronto Raptors last night.
"I just want to address something that I said about Tyrese Haliburton being a wannabe All-Star. I want to apologize personally to Tyrese Haliburton," Szczerbiak started off.
"He's a wonderful young player, he's definitely in the All-Star conversation along with guys like Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson. It's going to be interesting to see who makes it," the former player continued. "All those three players are wonderful players."
Haliburton has been averaging 19.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game this season.
