Los Angeles Lakers pursue Bojan Bogdanovic to add a solid shooter alongside the star trio of Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.
The Los Angeles Lakers are prioritizing shooting in their conversations with teams, and have discussed packages including salaries and a protected first-round pick for Detroit Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
They've also discussed concepts involving New York's Cam Reddish and Evan Fournier, via the report.
While Bogdanovic is a target for the Lakers — they are among roughly a dozen teams to inquire about him, offering first- or second-rounders — Detroit is showing no urgency about moving him. In fact, the Pistons have expressed to rival teams a significant reluctance about moving Bogdanovic, the NBA insider further reports.
The Croatian forward, 33, agreed on a two-year, $39.1 million contract extension with Detroit on October 31.
Since joining the team following September's trade, Bogdanovic has been a key player for the rebuilding franchise.
Throughout 28 matches of the 2022-23 season, the veteran wing has been averaging 21.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game on 50.8% shooting from the field.
