Othello Hunter suffered a thigh muscle injury against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday. He will be sidelined for a week before being re-examined, according to the official FC Bayern Munich announcement.
Hunter will be out for tonight's domestic league game against Hamburg and is unlikely to appear on the court in the next EuroLeague match versus Crvena Zvezda on Friday (October 28).
The 36-year-old big man sustained a non-contact injury. He headed straight to the locker room with a member of the medical staff in the last EuroLeague game.
Hunter scored 4 points in 6 playing minutes against Milan.
EuroLeague veteran has averaged 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 12.8 PIR over four duels in the strongest European league this season.
