Sergi Martinez underwent successful surgery to treat the patellar tendon injury in his left knee, FC Barcelona officially announced.

The 23-year-old Spaniard averaged 1.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.1 PIR over 34 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season.
Martinez went through the entire FC Barcelona basketball pyramid and joined the main team in 2020.
Barca are also playing without Nikola Mirotic and Kyle Kuric.
The EuroLeague's reigning MVP is out indefinitely due to an Achilles tendon injury, while Kuric is sidelined with a head injury.
