Jaka Blazic is out of basketball action for three months due to a back injury.
Jaka Blazic will be sidelined for about three months due to a back injury, Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul and Slovenian Basketball Federation officially announced.
He will be forced to miss November's FIBA window where Slovenia is set to meet Israel and Germany.
Blazic signed with Turkey's Bahcesehir in July. 2021-22 FIBA Europe Cup champions will compete in the Basketball Champions League this upcoming season.
Last season, Blazic played for Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in his homeland.
The 32-year-old swingman is coming off a FIBA EuroBasket 2022 where he averaged 8.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 7.6 EFF over seven games. However, Luka Doncic-led Slovenia stumbled against Poland in the quarterfinals and ended their title defense.
