James Nnnaji has decided to renew his contract with FC Barcelona despite receiving offers from teams in Europe and Australia, and colleges in the NCAA.
18-year-old James Nnaji is one of the biggest prospects currently in the FC Barcelona system. Although currently, the minutes on the court are not high, the club intends to keep the young center.

First reported by journalist Erick Moleiro, Barca have now officially renewed the contract with the 2.12-meter player. Nnaji will stay in Barcelona until 2027.
Moleiro reports that Nnaji had several offers from teams in Europe and Australia, as well as colleges in NCAA but decided to stay with one of the strongest basketball organizations on the continent.
In 12 games in the Spanish Liga Endesa last year, the center averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7 minutes of play. He played in 13 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds.
Nnaji did not play in the Catalan League final against Joventut Badalona two days ago. Instead, he appeared on the court in the semifinal battle against Girona Basquet where he scored 6 points.
