France announced its 12-man roster for EuroBasket 2022, with Isaia Cordinier being the last cut.
France joins the team which announced their 12-man rosters for the upcoming EuroBasket 2022.
Isaia Cordinier was the last cut in Vincent Collet's team. Unfortunately for Cordinier, he was the 13th last summer as well, when the French national team was preparing for the Tokyo Olympics and eventually won silver medals.
Before preparing for EuroBasket, France played four friendly games against the Netherlands (89-65), Italy twice (78-77 and 100-68), and Belgium (90-71), winning them all.
After that, Les Bleus beat the Czech Republic (95-60) in FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers but lost against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a double-overtime thriller (90-96).
In their opening game in EuroBasket, France will face the host Germany on Thursday in a Group B matchup.
