Tyson Carter is joining Unicaja Malaga, the Spanish club announced.
The 24-year-old is leaving Zenit St. Petersburg on loan and will spend the 2022-23 season in Spain with Unicaja.
Carter joined Zenit in December after a successful spell with Lavrio Megabolt, where he averaged 17.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 12.8 EFF in six Basketball Champions League.
With Zenit, Carter made only four EuroLeague appearances before the Russian team was excluded from the competition. In those four contests, the American guard averaged 8:15 minutes, 1.0 point, 1.3 assists, and 0.3 PIR per game.
