EuroLeague star Vasilije Micic continues to attract significant interest among several NBA teams who would like to acquire and sign him, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Micic has a contract with Anadolu Efes Istanbul for the next season, but could be bought out if an NBA offer comes.
Oklahoma City Thunder has rights to the 1.95-meter point guard but doesn't fit their rebuild timeline. The 28-year-old Micic would like to join NBA next season if the deal is found.
Micic averaged 18.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 17.5 PIR over 34 EuroLeague games this past season. The guard was the top scorer in the tournament. In addition, he became the EuroLeague Final Four MVP and won his second consecutive EuroLeague title.
The Serbian star recently mentioned that he is ready for the NBA.
"I'm still thinking about the NBA, this season I feel more ready to go there, if it happens it will happen," Micic said.
