Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv officially announced that Roman Sorkin is staying with the team for one more season.
The 25-year-old big man signed with Maccabi last summer. He averaged 2.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.5 PIR over 28 EuroLeague games last campaign.
His numbers in the domestic league reached 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 10.8 PIR in 24 duels.
Sorkin graduated from the University of Oregon in 2018. He returned to Israel the same year and joined Maccabi Haifa, where he was playing until 2021.
Before arriving in Tel Aviv, Sorkin registered 13.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists over 29 minutes in the Israeli Basketball Premier League for Haifa.
