Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have announced the signing of an American guard Wade Baldwin to a two-year deal.
Baldwin spent this past season in Spain with Baskonia, averaging 14.0 points, 4.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game in the EuroLeague.
Since his arrival in Europe, Baldwin has played for Olympiacos, Bayern Munich, and Baskonia. Now he'll head to Israel to continue his EuroLeague tenure.
Baldwin has a 3-year of NBA experience with the Memphis Grizzlies (2016-2017) and the Portland Trail Blazers (2017-2019).
Baldwin joins a long list of newcomers as Maccabi have already also added Darrun Hilliard, Austin Hollins, Bonzie Colson, Rafael Menco, Lorenzo Brown, Alex Poythress and veteran Guy Pnini.
After the signing Maccabi's head coach Oded Kattash praised the guard.
"Wade is one of the leading guards in the Euroleague and has exceptional physical abilities," Oded Kattash said. "He plays well on both sides of the court with determination and aggression."
