American big man Augustine Rubit is staying with FC Bayern Munich for one more season, per the official announcement. BasketNews were first to report the news about an extension.

"Germany and Munich, in particular, is a special place for me and my family," Rubit said. "Our last season was good, but I really hope and I am confident that the upcoming campaign will be even better. I'm looking forward to playing in front of our fans and for this club again."
Last season Rubit averaged 10.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 12.8 PIR over 36 EuroLeague games. He was a key factor in Bayern making the playoffs for the second time in a row.
The 2.03-meter big man spent most of his professional career in Germany, where he started with Tigers Tubingen (2014–15), then moved to Ulm Ratiopharm (2015-17) and Brose Bamberg (2017-19).
His EuroLeague experience also includes stints with Olympiacos Piraeus and Zalgiris Kaunas, where he averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds before leaving for Munich.
