American big man Augustine Rubit is staying with Bayern Munich for another year, according to BasketNews sources.
Last season Rubit averaged 10.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and a 12.8 player index rating per game in the EuroLeague for Bayern. He was a key factor by making the playoff for the second time in a row.
The 2.03-meters tall big man spent most of his professional career in Germany, where he started with Tigers Tubingen (2014–15), then moved to Ulm Ratiopharm (2015-17).
However, the only team for which he got to play for more than one season in the EuroLeague was Brose Bamberg (2017-19).
After two seasons with Brose Baskets, he moved to Olympiacos Piraeus, where he averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds over 31 games.
After one season in Piraeus, Rubit was signed by Zalgiris Kaunas (2020–21), where he averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in the EuroLeague.
