Gran Canaria extended Andrew Albicy for two more seasons with an option for another one, per the official club's report.
"I am very happy to renew a contract with Gran Canaria. I wanted to stay because I feel very good on the island. I have everything I want here to continue performing," Albicy said after signing an extension.
The 32-year-old guard landed in Gran Canaria two seasons ago, after parting ways with Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2020.
Since then, he has played a total of 95 games with the yellow jersey. Last season the Frenchman averaged 6.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 12.9 PIR over 15 EuroCup games.
Andrew Albicy will be one of the core players in the new team project with Jaka Lakovic at the helm of the squad.
