Serbian Basketball League (KSL) has officially announced the fines regarding Partizan Belgrade's withdrawal from the competition.

Partizan received a fine for not participating in the semifinal match against FMP Beograd, while head coach Zeljko Obradovic was suspended for four games in the Serbian Basketball League.

Partizan in total were fined for 1,812,000 Serbian dinars (approximately 15,402 euros).

The fine consists of:

  • 600,000 Serbian dinars (approx. 5,100 euros) due to the fact that Partizan refused to play the match
  • 1,200,000 Serbian dinars (approx. 10,200 euros) for damaging the reputation of the Serbian Basketball League
  • 12,000 Serbian dinars (approx. 102 euros) for failure to submit documentation to the league office.

In addition to Zeljko Obradovic's suspension for four games, official Partizan representative Dulet Karavesovic has also been suspended for four games.

Partizan club director Dejan Kijanovic is banned from performing team duties in the Serbian Basketball League for 6 months.

Partizan have decided to withdraw from the Serbian Basketball League after conflicts in their ABA league final games vs Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade to avoid further incidents.
