Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade did not have much trouble with FMP Belgrade and won with the final score of 110-71 (24-18, 29-11, 26-23, 31-19) taking the lead in the Serbian League finals 1-0.
The game for the most part was decided in the second quarter, which Crvena Zvezda won 29-11.
Crvena Zvezda made a 15-0 run in the middle of the second quarter and went away 39-22 with 4:22 to go. The run was led by Luka Mitrovic who scored all of his 11-points in the second quarter.
At the half, Crvena Zvezda already had a 24-point lead (53-29) and kept FMP Belgrade at a solid distance through the rest of the game.
FMP Belgrade managed to fight back only in the first quarter, which they lost by 6-points (24-18)
In the second half, Crvena Zvezda's lead only grew and reached the record mark of a 42-point lead with 1:10 to go in the game, after Nikola Ivanovic's 3-pointer.
Crvena Zvezda was led by their big-man Ognjen Kuzmic who ended up with 17 points on 8/10 field goals, and 7 rebounds.
FMP Belgrade's leader was Danilo Tasic who had 19 points on 6/10 field goals, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
