The clear goal of the Greek national team and the newly appointed head coach Dimitris Itoudis is to have both brothers at their disposition.

According to the Greek media outlet, the meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks' representatives is not ruled out either in order to reach the purpose.

Giannis Antetokounmpo debuted with the Greece jersey in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Then the Greek Freak represented his country in EuroBasket 2015, the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, and the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Overall, he has averaged 11.7 points over 49 international duels.

His brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo participated in all major basketball competitions from 2016 to 2019.

Greece will play in the upcoming EuroBasket's Group C. They will face Croatia, Italy, Great Britain, Ukraine, and Estonia in Milan, at Mediolanum Forum.
