Zenit St. Petersburg lost their starting five center Arturas Gudaitis to an ankle injury. Per BasketNews sources, a 28-year-old Lithuanian is expected to be sidelined indefinitely.
Gudaitis started 16 of 17 EuroLeague games this season, averaging 6.7 points on 61% shooting, and 4.2 rebounds (1.8 ORP) in 19 minutes.
Recently he played his best EuroLeague game of the season in Monaco, where his 15-point, 7-rebound (4 OFF), and 23-PIR performance led Zenit to a victory 85-74.
Gudaitis averaged 7.4 points on 64.3% shooting and 4.4 rebounds in 15 minutes in the VTB League.
Zenit currently stand 4th in the EuroLeague (12-6).
