After hard-fought three quarters, CSKA started the fourth period on a 7-0 run, capped off by Grigonis' fourth 3-pointer. (69-61). Daniel Hackett continued lighting it up, giving CSKA their first double-digit lead (80-68).

Marcos Knight and Elie Okobo converted two consecutive threes, and James Gist got a deuce, cutting ASVEL's deficit to four (81-85). However, that was their best effort, as CSKA held on to a seven-point victory (90-83).

Daniel Hacket was spectacular tonight, leading CSKA with 27 points (6/8 2PT, 3/4 3PT, 6/7 FT), 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 turnover, and 38 PIR. He was just two points and 1 PIR short of his career-highs in scoring and efficiency.

"The biggest factor was that we fought as a team," Hackett said. "On back-to-back nights coming from a game in Athens each of us had to give more in terms of effort, energy and focus. Those guys were excellent all night, fighting and keeping a team like ASVEL who’s having a great season to low scoring.

"I'm very proud of our team effort and we've got to keep it going. It’s a pretty cool accomplishment to reach 2,000 points. I want to thank all my teammates from my past teams, all the coaches who had the patience to guide me through this journey. You don’t do it alone, and I’m very happy to reach this goal with this jersey on my chest."

Alexey Shved nailed his second 3-pointer to give CSKA the early advantage (19-12). However, a last-second shot by Elie Okobo tied the game at 23 for ASVEL.

Marius Grigonis increased CSKA's lead to five, but that was the biggest lead either team was able to gain in the second quarter. CSKA held a narrow one-point cushion going into halftime (40-39).

Both teams went back-and-forth in the third quarter, as Alexey Shved nailed his third three to help CSKA maintain a slight lead going into the final period (62-61).
