AX Armani Exchange Milan (8-0) celebrated a hard-fought victory against Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia (3-5), winning at home 84-74 (17-24, 32-21, 18-18, 17-11).
Reggio Emilia started the game well and led by seven after the first period (24-17), but Milan turned it around in the second, going on an 18-5 run to gain an eight-point advantage (45-37).
The visitors cut their deficit to a single point at the end of the third quarter (61-62), but Milan's late 14-3 spurt helped them secure a 10-point advantage with just over two minutes remaining in the game. They were able to hold on to it, winning by 10.
Sergio Rodriguez and Luigi Datome scored half of their team's points, providing 22 and 20, respectively.
