The teams went back and forth for the first three quarters, with the lead changing hands 18 times. Efes were down by six going into the fourth quarter (59-65) but went on a 12-2 run to get in front (71-67).
Pinar Karsiyaka did not back down and even had a chance to win the game. However, Bryant Dunston blocked Michael Roll's last-second attempt, and Efes came away with a hard-fought victory.
