EuroLeague's Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz got hammered by Bilbao Basket in the final of Euskal Kopa, the trophy for Basque teams. The final score was 93-68 (22-13, 28-20, 19-15, 24-20) for the team coached by Alex Mumbru.

Baskonia were missing a couple of players, but since the first minutes of the game, it looked clear that Bilbao were on another level that day.

Already in the first half, Bilbao built a big lead, ending the first 20 minutes up by 17 points, behind the performances of Andrew Goudelock, who had 12 points in the first half, and Regimantas Miniotas with 11.

Baskonia tried a timid comeback in the third quarter, but Ivanovic's players didn't have enough energy to bounce back completely. A step back for the EuroLeague yeam, which is still trying to adapt to the many changes that the roster went through this summer.

Bilbao did an amazing job, both defensively and from long range. Baskonia suffered, especially in the painted area, where the team felt the absence of Costello.

At the end of the game, Andrew Goudelock was the top scorer with 20 points, while Alex Reyes added 15 points for Bilbao. Simone Fontecchio was the top scorer of Baskonia with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
