FC Bayern Munich welcomed their new shooting guard. The deal was announced for the next season.
Hilliard spent the last two seasons with CSKA Moscow where he captured the VTB United League championship. In the 2020-21 EuroLeague he averaged 8.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 37 games. Before signing with the CSKA, the American played in Spain for Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
28-year-old (1.98) spent three seasons in the NBA with Detroit Pistons (2015-2017) and San Antonio Spurs (2017-18). His career averages in the strongest league were 3.2 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 91 games.
In the same press release, FC Bayern informed that 27-year-old shooting guard Robin Amaize will be leaving the team.
